Bangor, ME — The Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Geaghan Brothers Brewing are joining forces once again to offer a unique Beer & Music Pairing event on Friday, June 29, 7 p.m. in the Bangor Arts Exchange Ballroom. Head Brewer Andrew Geaghan, BSO concertmaster Trond Saeverud, and BSO Music Director and Conductor Lucas Richman are creating a menu of four beers paired in perfect harmony with four musical selections. Tickets are $25 per person, and include a complimentary souvenir glass and four, 10 oz. tasting pours.
The BSO and Geaghan’s first partnered in 2015 to mark the Symphony’s 120th anniversary with Maestro’s Marzen, a custom brew. The unique partnership was recently highlighted in a Forbes Magazine article.
“While brewing beer is a very scientific endeavor, it is also one of my largest creative outputs,” says Andrew Geaghan, Owner & Head Brewer. “As a musician I have always had a deep appreciation for the emotive qualities of music, and I am excited to work with the Bangor Symphony and our brewers to pair musical movements that match our beers in feel and spirit.”
Tickets are now available online. For more information, call the Bangor Symphony Orchestra office at (207) 942-5555.
