Bangor Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts
Bangor, ME — The Bangor Symphony Orchestra will be welcoming more than 2,700 students from the greater Bangor area to the Collins Center for the Arts to watch the symphony perform live on stage. The program will feature Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf along with music by Rossini, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky. High school pianist, Michael Bostock of Falmouth, will be a soloist with the orchestra as winner of the 2024 Maine High School Concerto Competition.
